The Northern Ireland Badger Group is an independent, not-for-profit initiative, which aims to promote the understanding, protection and welfare of badgers. It opposes all inhumane acts against badgers including digging, baiting, gassing and snaring.

The Group seeks to work with the farming community in Northern Ireland to resolve the bovine TB problem. However, we believe there there is no scientific evidence to support the culling badgers as an effective measure against bovine TB. Click here for more information on bovine TB
